Grants

Five grants worth $5000 each for First Nations dental students are awarded each year.

Ten grants worth $5000 each for dental students from rural and remote regions in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.

Application for Grant Round 2023-2024 are now open. The 2023 grant round will close on January 22, 2024.

These scholarships are intended for graduate students in specialty training programmes to enable them to travel interstate to complete their course work.

Up to four grants available for dental hygienist and oral health therapist students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. Applications open 1 March, 2024.

Five scholarships that fall under the Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS), adminstered by Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH).

Provides financial assistance  to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people studying at TAFE or entry level courses at university.
