Gain hands-on skills in oral surgery focusing on fundamental surgical skills.
You will learn:
Different flap design – theory, and hands-on on a pig’s jaws with teeth
Surgical access, sectioning, and extraction
Basic suturing skills including interrupted, horizontal and vertical mattress, continuous and locking sutures
How to utilise your assistant to help with procedures
How to undertake socket preservation
