After leaving high school, Will didn’t have a clear idea of what he wanted to do. Deciding that tertiary education might offer some direction, he enrolled in a number of courses of study, but none of them felt right. It wasn’t until he came across dental assisting online, courtesy of his interest in health sciences and biology, that a sense of what he wanted to do became clearer.

Attracted by the fact that practice-based traineeships were available, Will decided it was time to expand his horizons and try something new. He’s very glad he did. A supportive environment working with great colleagues has allowed him to pursue his qualifications while obtaining practical experience in assisting patients through a variety of procedures, working closely alongside dentists and the rest of a close-knit dental team. 

Dental assisting has given Will purpose, satisfaction and the sense of a job well done.
